  3. @Adam Regarding celebrity advocacy: With the recent wave of anti-intellectual criticism of vaccinations fueled by the likes of Jenny McCarthy and her ilk, when can we expect a fact based television quality rational response smackdown from the mythbusting “close personal friend(tm)” of Phil Plait?

  9. @Alek (1): Probably too controversial for the Discovery Channel.
@Mat (2): My all-time favorite was the cement truck.

  10. @ Adam: is it really as fun as it looks?

@ Prof.Frank (4) Adam/Jamie have already commented on that; saying the small scale is to cost prohibitive and there is no way to do a full scale experiment.

@ Mat (2) at comic-con I believe Adam said his current favorite explosion is hot water heaters, but his opinion is always changing as the show moves forward.

  16. I have an idea for a spin off. Did you ever see David Horowitz’s show “Fight Back”? It focused on claims made by advertising agencies and was one of my favorite shows of the 70′s. I’d like to see an updated version of this all time classic.

One more thing – I think it would be cool if you could get Cecil Adams from the Chicago Reader to do a guest spot on your show. He writes the “Straight Dope” column.
